The name Ke'Ola has been given to me by Kumu Hula Uncle George Lanakilakekiahilii Na'ope (Febr . 25, 1928 - Oct. 26, 2009 ) He is the founder of the famous Merrie Monarch Hula Festival that takes place every year in Hilo on The Big Island. A question often asked is: How come a very much Dutch woman gets so fascinated by the spiritual culture of Hawaii? What follows, is a short description of a long and continuous road.

It was in 1989 during a trip in Egypt, that I first heard about Kahuna of Hawaii. It was asif I was struck by lightning, nailed to the ground and bells ringing throughout my body. A hidden source inside me, came back to life. As soon as I was home again I searched for books about Kahuna and found only one, 'The Secrect Science behind Miracles' by Max Freedom Long. It told about miracles performed by Kahuna, like healing broken bones in no more than 5 minutes.... I wanted to know all there was to know about it.
One event followed the other. One week after I was back from Egypt I was asked to organize for two Kahuna: Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona (May 19, 1913 - Febr. 11, 1992) and Dr. Ihaleaka Hew Len. These two humble Hawaiians traveled all over the world to bring people 'Self-I-Dentity through Ho'oponopono', an old Hawaiian process of forgiveness and healing. Intuitively I felt the power and sincerety of this process. During the training these two Hawaiians gave in the Kosmos in Amsterdam miracles happened. A man who had with a stiff leg since he had been involved in a motoraccident 26 years before. He was not able to bend his knee. He asked Morrnah for a healing. 5 Minutes later he felt a warm flow through his leg and his knee was healed. Afterwards he had x-rays made of his knee and even where previously bonefragments were gone, the bone had been restored. I asked Morrnah: "How do you do that?" Her answer: "It's not me, it's God, all we have to do is ask." That's all? Now after many years of practizing and teaching the process Self-I-Dentity through Ho'oponopono, miracles have become a daily part of my life. The ancient Hawaiians had a secret knowledge, that thanks to people like Morrnah, became available to anyone who is interested and willing to learn.
At her romantic beachhouse near Kealakekua Bay Aunty Margaret teached traditional Hawaiian Lomilomi massage, which I learned from her in 1994. In 1996 I went back for the advanced class and got Aunties blessing to teach the Lomilomi.
Aunty Margarets' motto: "Lomilomi is a praying work. Just lay your hands in Gods hands and let him do the work." Aunti walked the rainbow at age 93 on December 29, 2009.
My love for the Hawaiian people, their culture and the Hawaiian Islands are the inspiration behind Aloha o ka I.

Still every day I'm grateful that these beautiful Hawaiian ladies, Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona and Aunty Margaret Machado, and Uncle George Na'ope crossed my path and were willing to share their wisdom. It changed my life forever. The study of ancient Hawaii, the Godforms and the healing arts is a never ending story. Every year I visit my beloved Hawaii and guide a tour for a small group to spiritual empowered places. We experience the Mana, the spirit of Aloha, the beautiful landscape, sacred places, the ocean etc. If you feel Hawaii calling, you're most welcome to join me in this ancient Paradise.
